Comfortable stay with scenic views

The breathtaking views of the Knockmealdown Mountains left us in awe during our stay. The staff were friendly and attentive, making us feel welcomed and valued throughout our time there.

While the room was comfortable, it lacked some attention to detail. The bathroom cleanliness could have been better, as we found hairs in several places, which detracted from our overall experience.

Our stay was marred by several issues. The pool closure time was not as advertised, and the staff at the pool were incredibly rude, standing over us as we swam and watching their watches. the lack of a lift made it extremely inconvenient, particularly with a young baby. Our bathroom had loose tiles, which posed safety concerns, and there was no heating, making it uncomfortable to bathe our child.

Had a lovely stay! The food was delicious, and the comfy rooms were perfect for unwinding after a day out. Staff were super accommodating, especially with our dietary needs. Just a bit of an awkward check-in experience, but overall a great visit!

Unfortunately, we encountered a lack of heating in the en-suite bathroom, which made bathing our young baby uncomfortable during our stay.

Cozy vibes and great food!

The staff were super friendly, really made us feel at home! Had dinner in the bar, and wow, the food was delish. Big shoutout to Tom for being such a star in the ballroom—he had everything running smoothly! Only thing was the Wi-Fi was a bit spotty in the room. a lovely spot to relax.

Awesome place with free wi-fi in rooms, a fitness centre, and an indoor swimming pool. I remember how the staff helped me with printing my boarding pass during my first stay. Highly recommend it for a holiday!

The atmosphere exuded charm, and the staff were remarkably welcoming and attentive throughout our stay. The dining experience was a highlight, especially the delightful Thai food offerings, adding a unique touch to our meals. Unfortunately, the outside could use a refresh, as some decor looked neglected, and minor maintenance issues like a broken cistern lid were noticeable in our room.

The Superior Double Room was huge with tons of natural light from the four windows offering stunning mountain views. The furniture really matched the lodge theme and made the room feel cozy. I appreciated the spacious bathroom with a big bath—great for relaxing after a day of exploring. the cleanliness could have been better, especially considering some shared areas felt a bit dated. it was comfortable and well-suited for a short stay.

We had a great stay at Kilcoran Lodge! Our room was spacious and quiet, and the breakfast was amazing with lots of choices. The location is fantastic for exploring the surrounding areas, too!
